Want Sailing Lessons?

All our lessons are designed to be entertaining and experiential. Our motto is, "You can't learn it 'til you try it!"

Our curriculum is based on favorites from several nationally-recognized sailing schools and is adaptable to whatever type of sailing you will be doing. Expect the classes to run about 4 hours each. We aim to sail most of the time, with lecture-style classes generally conducted on days with light to no air.

Intro to Sailing (2-4 Hours)

The Intro to Sailing Class is a great way to see how you would like the sailing lifestyle. This is simply an afternoon spent in and around sailboats. We go out sailing for a few hours and spend some time talking about the dynamics of sailing. this is a great way to "test the waters." (cost $100)

The Basics (16 Hours)

We offer two levels of "The Basics:" Beginner and Intermediate. If there is something you feel you need to work on, or you would rather have a private lesson with yourself or your family, let us know and we will gladly accommodate. (cost $325)

Coaching (Hourly)

Have you put money into sails, a new bottom, and a folding prop, without finding improved results? Are you moving from a PHRF JAM to a SPIN fleet? Can't get your crew to be consistent in their jobs? Coaching is the answer. We bring experience from other championship programs straight to you. We will run through drills, practice different techniques, and use some other tools, all that you can continue to use on your own time.

We charge for coaching on a flat hourly rate, so you can decide how much money you want to spend. ($60/hr)

Everyone gets better with some outside advice, and sometimes that's all that is needed to get the boat to go. You might have a crack crew and a well-found boat but you still can't find the groove every time. Do you want that last little edge of advantage and not have to worry about coming in to a mark with a late douse? If any of this makes sense, give us a call!

Hours of Coaching make a great gift from the crew to the skipper !
